Webmaster Q&A
What CMS do you use?
We use ExpressionEngine from EllisLab to publish and manage Web content. Occassionally, we’ll do some static HTML pages, but we use EE for the majority of content. We buy commercial licenses from EllisLab for all clients.
Do you support other systems, e.g. Drupal?
We are interested in supporting other systems. We have experience with Drupal, Movable Type and Wordpress, to name a few. ExpressionEngine is currently the standard feature, but drop us a note about others you may be considering.
Can we publish and update content on our own?
Absolutely, that’s a great way to buy a smaller subscription plan and still receive the other institutional benefits of Sitesquad Web Division. Training is included.
Do you do custom development?
We do, but not with Sitesquad Webmaster. We do custom development in our Sitesquad Consulting. Sitesquad Webmaster features basic PHP/MySQL support for common features such as Web forms.
How do we get more features on our site without custom development?
ExpressionEngine. It’s more than just a content management system, and we offer full support for its plethora of features, add-on modules and extensions.
