Welcome to our Magento Estimator. This page is designed to give you an idea of what a Magento project comprises and how much it might cost. Just select options applicable to your needs to get an instant quote.

Consulting: $479 - $5000

It all starts with consulting to understand exactly what you need. Small projects for out-of-box functionality may only require a few hours of needs analysis while large projects with sophisticated customizations and back-office integrations may require several days of discovery in person or via remote conferences.

Design: $5000 - $10,000+

It's usually one of three (soon to be four) directions with Magento design:

• Original Magento store design, starting at $10,000
• Retrofit of your existing store design to Magento, starting at $5000
• A PSD-to-Magento theme conversion, from another designer, starting at $5000
• Sitesquad off-the-shelf flagship theme, coming soon, $ TBD < $5000 *

We're designing an off-the-shelf theme package as a fourth option. You'll be able to buy and use the theme as is, or buy it and purchase minor customizations from us to fit your brand. Either way, it'll be the economy option if your budget for design is less than $5000.

Re: Other Off-the-Shelf Themes
While we do work on Magento sites that use other themes, we will not build a new site from the ground up using another off-the-shelf theme.

Production & Data Imports: Starting at $479

Magento's catalog and content management capabilities put you in the driver seat to publish on your own. If you have a small store, you may not even need our assistance to publish products and content. On the other hand, for larger stores, we can program data imports of products, categories and customers. An import of order history is achievable, but can be difficult and expensive.

Training: $479 - $1798

Magento's deep — you'll be learning from day one. To get started, we recommend a half-day training for Magento basics, a full-day for fundamental features frequently used, and at least two days for premium features found in the Professional or Enterprise Edition. Our training consists of agenda-driven sessions via GoToTraining or, alternatively, on-site. They're interactive, and suitable for individuals and teams. We will also be releasing downloadable training videos in the near future.

Hosting: $25 per month to $2500 per month for clustered servers

Magento hosting is a craft. We offer our own boutique service for select clients, but we are also an official partner and strong advocate of Nexcess.net, a premier Magento hosting partner. One thing is certain - Magento does not perform well with low-end, generic hosting services.

What's Included with Sitesquad Magento Projects

There are some things we won't charge you for in a Magento project, namely project management and testing. It's on us to keep the project organized and make sure things work as they should.

QA & Testing

We may or may not be the lead horse in this effort depending on who's responsible for the sign-off and release of applications in your organization. Some clients orchestrate their own QA process. Nevertheless, we believe it's incumbent upon us to make sure the fundamentals work as they should. Our standard QA process is not something we charge for. It includes:

Project Management & Delivery

The success of a Magento project hinges on many things, not the least of which is project management. With us, you'll have a PM for your project who will coordinate our design and development efforts, as well as our joint collaborations with you and your staff.

Post-Project Support

Post-project support will be invaluable for your success with Magento over the long run. Magento is not a zero-maintenance platform. If you purchase Enterprise Edition, you'll benefit from direct support from Magento. In this case, our support might be complimentary to what Magento provides. If you purchase Professional Edition or plan to use Community Edition, our support might be either a lifeline for you on a daily basis or at least a reliable ally when you need it.
